Because Zetavault is Linux based, it supports the latest hardware.

This includes:

Zetavault will install on to any system that Linux can be installed to.

However, certain features of Zetavault require specific hardware.

Power Supplies

Zetavault can monitor redundant power supplies for failure and also record power consumption.

We support:

Ethernet

Anything supported by Linux will work.

We support:

Fibre Channel

QLogic adapters are supported.

We support:

Some adapters are re-branded versions of the above. It is common to see Dell, EMC, HP and IBM branded QLogic adapters.

Support for Emulex LightPulse 16000 series has now been discontinued due to Emulex abandoning the target support.

InfiniBand

We support InfiniBand for iSER and SRP initiators and targets. We do not support IPoIB for storage protocols.

We currently support up to 56 Gbit (FDR).

Host Bus Adapters (HBA)

Any HBA supported by Linux will work.

However, for enclosure management including drive blinking, only Avago/LSI adapters are supported.

For enclosure management we support:

RAID Controllers

Any RAID controller supported by Linux will work.

However, for RAID management including web based configuration and automatic array monitoring for disk failures, we only support certain controllers.
