Modern GUI

Zetastack features a modern web based interface.

We use HTML5 with no fancy extensions, proprietary plugins or flash.

The interface works with any modern browser that is standards compliant.

Just login to a single node to perform VM management across the whole cluster.

Distributed HA Storage

Zetastack performs erasure coding storage replication between the nodes.

This is a scale out replacement for traditional SANs.

The storage is fault tolerant in the event of node failure.

VM images, snapshots, ISOs and templates are stored as files in the distributed storage.

We support any disk device including NVMe flash storage.

KVM & LXC Hypervisors

Run any operating system with the KVM hypervisor.

Run Linux containers with the LXC hypervisor.

KVM and LXC machines can exist on the same nodes at the same time.

Manage KVM and LXC machines with the same management system.

Rapid VM Creation

Create new Linux VMs in seconds from pre-configured templates.

Intelligent cloning is used to avoid duplicating data when creating VMs from templates.

Choose from CentOS, Debian, Fedora, openSUSE and Ubuntu templates.

You can also install VMs the traditional way from ISO CD-ROM images.

VM Images & Snapshots

VM images are thin provisioned. Newly created images take up almost no space.

Multiple snapshots can be taken. VM images can be rolled back to a previous snapshot in seconds.

VM Load Balancing & HA

VMs are automatically load balanced between the nodes in the cluster.

In the event of node failure, the VMs on the failed node are automatically restarted on the other nodes.

Secure Console

A web based console is included which connects over WSS (WebSocket Secure).

Everything you do in the console is encrypted by SSL/TLS.

Zetastack includes a multilayer virtual switch.

Multiple physical network interfaces can be bonded together in the vSwitch for the VM network traffic.
