A four node cluster ready for action

New Features In Zetavault 3.26

20th July 2016

Advanced Clustering

The big feature for this release.

We've been working on this for over a year. This is why there is such a large gap since 3.25 was released (over 7 months).

This is ZFS clustering on steroids. If Travis Tygart spots this, he'll be having kittens.

So what's so good about it, compared to the existing failover based cluster?

Cluster configuration is wizard based and is really simple.

If you are running the existing failover based cluster, we are providing free support to migrate to the new cluster architecture.

We plan to support the new 100 Gbit Intel Omni-Path network later this year.

SMB Configuration GUI

We now have a GUI for all SMB configuration. This includes:

We have support for running as a standalone system and as an Active Directory member.

For cluster based setups, the configuration is automatically synced to the other nodes.
